  • Does it cover telehealth services?
  • Do I have a co-pay?
  • Do I have a deductible?
  • Do I have co-insurance?
  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have?
  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
  • Confirm that this practice is in network with your plan. Resilient Joy Counseling's National Provider Identifier (NPI) number is 1083456032. The EIN is 99-345-1884.

Out-of-Network:

If you do not see your insurance listed above, please know that many health insurance plans offer an out-of-network benefit. This means that you would pay the counseling rate upfront after each session. The first session is a 60-minute initial assessment which costs $200. Ongoing sessions are typically 45 minutes which cost $150 each session. This practice would then provide you with a superbill to submit to your health insurance plan for reimbursement. You would be reimbursed for all or part of the costs, depending on the plan. It's important to call your insurance company first to see if you have this out-of-network benefit. To find out how much they will reimburse you, you can ask for reimbursement rates for CPT 90791 (initial session) and CPT 90834 (ongoing sessions).

Payment

All major debit and credit cards are accepted as forms of payment. HSA cards may also be used to pay for psychotherapy costs. Contact your HSA provider to confirm. A card is required to keep on file for any co-pay or balances due.

Cancellation Policy

24-Hour notice is requested if you can't make your appointment. There is a $50 fee charged if there is no notice given with less than 24 hours before the appointment, unless prohibited by your insurance plan. You will be able to review practice policies in more depth before your first appointment to see if this practice is a good fit for you.
