Sarah Crombie graduated high school in Oxford, MA. She studied social work at the University of Southern Maine in Portland where she earned her master's degree in 2006. In 2014 she became licensed in MA as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
Sarah has over 20 years' worth of experience helping people. Her work history includes counseling, domestic violence, elder services, primary care, complex care management, and neurology social work supporting people with epilepsy, stroke history, dementia, traumatic brain injuries, Parkinson's, and Huntington's.
Sarah has expressed gratitude for these work opportunities and feels as though they have provided her with a deep level of understanding of the human experience, as well as a strong knowledge foundation for navigating systems, advocating for quality care, and seeking best overall wellbeing.
In 2024 Sarah decided to return to private practice to best help people utilizing all of her skills and experiences. She is skilled at analyzing how people process information and helping people to navigate difficult times in life.
She believes we are all unique so she tailors her approach for each individual. She tends to utilize a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
